Mercury and Siloxanes

Mercury Control: 

APC offers two high-efficiency, cost-effective mercury control systems, which are very advantageous against competing products, particularly in gas streams with particulate present or high moisture content. 

APC’s MercPure™ – Mark I systems provide very high control efficiency for mercury at low capital and operating costs and 24/7 operation with virtually no downtime.  Mercury adsorption media are custom-selected for each application.  APC’s one-of-a-kind ultra high-efficiency filter (UHF™) unit precedes the adsorption bed, which controls aerosol and particulate down to and below 0.1 micron in size, preventing plugging and premature expiration of the media, greatly extending adsorption media life, and allowing continuous mercury control at high efficiency.

APC’s MercPure™ – Mark II systems utilize proven, patent-pending technology using unique mercury adsorption media to deliver high control efficiency for mercury at very low capital and operating costs.  The Mark II system offers the lowest pressure drop available, eliminates plugging potential, and offers 24/7 operation with no process downtime. 

Siloxanes Control:

APC Technologies offers SiloxPure, a patent-pending, cost-effective and high-efficiency control solution for removing abrasive siloxanes from digester methane gases prior to power generation.  SiloxPure systems utilize customized media to provide very high control efficiency of siloxanes at low capital and operating costs, with 24/7 operation and no process downtime for media change-out.  APC also offers CarbonPure activated carbon adsorption systems for siloxane removal.
