Submicron Particulate, Smoke, Haze, Heavy Metals, Sticky or Oily, Dust, and Bacteria

APC Technologies, Inc.’s Ultra High-Efficiency Filter (UHF™) systems use proprietary design features to remove submicron particulate, smoke, haze, heavy metals, dust, and bacteria with control efficiency of up to and in excess of 99% for sub-micron size contaminants.
Applications range down to particle sizes of less than 0.05 micron.

The UHF™ system provides for substantially lower space requirements than alternate technologies, resulting in low capital cost. Units come in renewable and non-renewable filter types. Filter replacement is simple and can be performed while the system is on line, for 24/7 operation with no downtime.

When the particulate is sticky, oily, and/or corrosive, the UHF™ is especially advantageous as all contaminants are removed in a single stage and the UHF™ has no issues with blinding or plugging.

For applications where particulate size is larger, APC offers venturi scrubbers and high-efficiency cyclones. These systems are also low in capital cost, simple to operate, and provide very high control efficiency for larger particle sizes. These devices may also be used as pre-filters before a UHF™ unit in applications where particulate loading levels are excessive.
